“We had a great stay at The Shophouse Collection! The location is great, between two MRT stops and walking to distance to Little India. The apartment was in a beautiful building and the interior design inside was very cool. Facilities were great including washing machine which is always handy and Netflix. Highly recommended for a more homely stay in Singapore. I’d also recommend MTR restaurant which is a 5 min walk away - it’s an Indian restaurant which is ranked highly on Tripadvisor and very tasty! Go early or late as every time we walked past, it was packed. Communication with TSC was fantastic and they were so helpful with great useful tips and easily contactable at all times. Thanks!!”
“We loved the Shophouse, The location is very central, only a few minutes walk to MRT and the Mall and also Mustafa, which is a must visit for any tourist. The Shophouse is beautiful and has all the amenities you need. One great plus was you can still use the communal amenities on the day you check-out if you have a night flight. Great to be able to wash our clothes and cook the odd meal ourselves. The bedroom was very spacious and nice to have a couch to chill out on. Small fridge in bedroom is a plus too. It is a very stylish and homely place to stay!”

I was deeply moved by being able to stay in a building with so much history. It was convenient for me, about 5-10 minutes on foot from MRT. The interior was also wonderful, as was shown in the picture.”
“The Shophouse’s studio apartment was even cuter in person than it was in the pictures. I loved the mid-century modern design. The bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows were provided (which is great because I usually sleep with two pillows under my head and one to snuggle with when I’m not with my boyfriend!) The lock-box was very convenient for check in and check out (especially since I was checking out at about 6am, before the sun was even up). Communication with TSC was very detailed upon booking and right before the trip. They also left a print out of the instructions and a list of recommended places to eat/drink, almost all of which were within walking distance (I loved Chye Sent Huat Hardware for coffee and brunch and Druggists was a great beer bar). The price is reasonable compared to most of the hotels in Singapore, plus you’re getting comfort and character. The electric kettle and instant coffee in the room were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend The Shophouse Collection and will hopefully stay here on my next trip. :)”
